Am I too addicted to the Internet???

I find instant messaging and twitter more attractive than my iPhone when it comes to communicating among friends. That is why I tweet more often than I make phone calls with my iPhone. I'm not the type of person who has everything in my mind straightened up. If I make a phone call to a friend to ask about something, there is a high probability that I might have another question for my friend in seconds or minutes after I hang up. I'm just like that way...

Maybe, for that reason, I prefer communicating via the Internet. Something like instant messenger or twitter, anything else that doesn't require instant attention. If I use my phone, I'll have to call up my buddy so frequently that he/she will be too distracted to do anything else.

On the other hand, I find a lot of people who do not use the Internet much for communicating among friends... Those kind of people usually use the Internet only at WORK, and never at home. That is weird... How can they live without the Internet at HOME???

I understand there is a lot more to do than just surf the web, but surfing on the web ain't all about the Internet, is it??? I mean it's the best way to get in touch with your old friends without distracting them too much... You still feel connected when you see them on your firends list even though you don't talk to them so often. And yet, you can reconnect with them without much guilt any time. Because you see them online everyday !!!

I think the Internet is under-rated in Korea. More specifically, instant messaging, twitter, and facebook are under-rated in Korea... Some things that are over-rated in Korea on the Internet are Cyworld and Naver...

My Whole point here is that I shouldn't be viewed as some kind of geeky or nerdy computer freak...
Social Networking on the Internet should be something more wide spread in Korea...
