'i' comes before 'e' except for after 'c'

Ever heard of that rule???
It comes in handy when you get confused...

But sometimes you get confused about the rule itself...
Anyway... I was at work, doing some documentation, and that phrase just came up to my from nowhere.

I looked up google to see if I had got the rule right...
And I found some interesting argument about that rule...

Someone argued about the word science...

Isn't that funny??? Never thought of that before...
All that I can say about that is...
I guess the rule only holds for the case where the combination of 'i' and 'e' sounds like e~
